In Phase I, the Moon Hut, there will be no “Moon trade” as people imagine it. There will be no helium-3 mining, no stand-alone lunar data centers, no local Moon currencies. In this opening phase, anyone who goes will go “all expenses paid,” because simply getting there will carry the entire cost. This is closer to the bold first age of settlers — presence matters more than commerce.

In Phase II, the Industrial Park, true exchange begins. Products, materials, and services will move both ways: from the Moon to Earth, and from Earth to the Moon. It is here that a functioning Mearth Economic System takes shape, not as a collection of speculative projects but as an integrated economy stretching across 297,000 miles.
